Had the very unfortunate and miserable experience of becoming their 'client'. This was compounded by dealing with Alison Wilson. The only thing she seems to exceed is in is bad treatment of their clients.
Alison Wilson needs major customer service training. Severely lacking in professionalism. She and HCB need to simply treat their clients with respect because you are being PAID to provide a SERVICE.
We are not to be taken advantage of, fobbed off and disrespected simply because we are near completion and have no choice to endure you in order to see the purchase complete. They will sit idle with your file for weeks, tell you all is well and then on the day of exchange, demand 50 further documents and bank statements!
The complaints deparment then have the audacity to state they might have asked for some documents late but thats not a reason for a complaint!
Only use them if you want to experience everything what Conveyancers SHOULD NOT BE & DO.

My experience with HCB was fantastic. My solicitor, Kellie, was/is amazing. She truly is fantastic at her job and cares for the clients she works for. She went over and beyond to help with the sale and purchase of my property. We encountered so many issues and hindrances along the way but Kellie's calm manner made the entire process stress free.
