Cut throat, rude fairly aggressive tactics with a corporate attitude when dealing with them. I am not happy with the legal advice I received about Welfare Deputyships and have had more positive experiences with other law firms who gave a level of empathy and compassion for my personal situation. I would hesitate to engage with this law firm in future. Bev Forse - apparently a "paralegal" is incredibly rude and abrupt in her manner and I would hesitate to ever speak to her again. Really cold abrupt people with no heart at all.

I used Shakespeare Martineau to deal with getting Probate for my Mother's Estate. Her affairs were moderately complicated and I am so pleased that I used SM to guide and assist me as there were several occasions where I was not quite sure how to proceed. Dealing with Probate when the second parent dies is something that most people will only do once and as it is somewhat daunting when you have an Estate that is not straightforward, using a Solicitor is a sensible option. I found SM to be thoroughly professional and a pleasure to work with. I am so pleased that we took the decision to work with them.
