I transferred to K J Smith Solicitors part-way through the very difficult, contested financial proceedings in my ongoing divorce, now in it's 4th year. I was immediately bowled over by the efficiency of the handover process. My prior solicitor did not make it easy to obtain all the prior information and K J Smith were picking up the case immediately after a challenging FDR, with a Notice to Show Cause hearing pending due to the other party going back on agreements reached in said FDR.
Robyn Bowyer has dealt with my case for the last year since picking it up. Robyn and the team, including Lydia, Hannah, Max, and others I'm sure, have got my case back on track and, as stressful and exhausting as it is, they have smoothed the process as much as possible and made me feel much more confident of an eventual end to it.
Sadly, from my experience, there is no easy path when the two sides cannot agree or act reasonably in financial proceedings. The right representation is absolutely essential. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robyn and the others at K J Smith. Thank you to them all for getting me through it so far.
