Dealing with davisions law to complete my first house purchase was seamless very good communication and fast turn around. I purchased from auction and only had 21 days to complete and they go me through this and handled all concerns I had during the process. Abby Au handled my transaction and was professional, responsive and thorough throughout, Abby kept everything moving forward and was always quick to respond to questions and provide updates. Abby took the time to explain what was needed at each stage and ensured that everything was in place for a smooth completion.

I had a great experience with Honor Wilcox at Davison’s Law Colmore Row while selling my home. Having one consistent point of contact throughout made the whole process much smoother and less stressful. Honor was excellent—proactive, always chasing progress, and everything was completed without any hitches. She was also incredibly helpful on the phone, taking the time to clearly explain documents and answer any queries I had. We would advise avoiding this firm if possible. We received extremely poor service throughout the process. Most updates took over two weeks, and in one instance, more than six weeks. Even though their terms and conditions indicate a turnaround of usually one week.
They corresponded more frequently with the estate agents than with us, despite us being the clients. I don’t think I was ever able to communicate with our solicitor Asif on the phone, despite a great number of attempts. All the updates we received through the process were through Romans.
We escalated our concerns to the complaints team, specifically asking for support in resolving the ongoing communication issues, which were the underlying problem. Unfortunately, this was not handled appropriately, and we found their responses to be dismissive and, at times, rude.
They initially offered £100 in compensation, followed by another £100 after services were completed, which we felt did not adequately reflect the issues experienced.
All correspondence was signed by Maria B, who, as we understand, was on maternity leave for the majority (around 95%) of our case, raising further concerns about transparency and accountability.
They also provided a list of quotes which were not honoured, ultimately charging more than initially indicated. We raised this multiple times, but the emails were ignored.
Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the service provided.
