My solicitor told me that a possession claim had to be submitted. However, when I contacted the court, they confirmed that nothing has been submitted to them. The papers were prepared and shown to me, and everything appeared to be correct.
Because of this, I have lost around £30,000 in unpaid rent and legal costs, and I also had to pay additional money to the tenants to leave the property
1 am very upset because I was misled and treated dishonestly.
"The claim application filled in by georgia Tuxford is a paralegal, signed and submitted by laura johnstone she is only a paralegal not even a qualified solicitor under solicitor David Barret supervision."
I do not recommend this firm to anyone.
They are professional in mislead, dishonesty and lies.

Would not hesitate to recommend Sara when buying a house and in fact have already done so to friends! Diligent (saved us buying a flat with too many issues!) and easy to talk to

In my personal experience, this has been the worst solicitor firm I have ever dealt with. I left feeling completely let down, misinformed
and ignored. Throughout my case, I felt like I wasn't given clear guidance, and the information I was provided often felt
confusing or misleading. I trusted them with an incredibly important matter, and that trust now feels completely misplaced
Because of what I believe were serious
failures in how my case was handled, I ended up losing my case and suffering a financial loss of around £70,000. This has been a huge and devastating blow to me. I expected professionalism, honesty, and proper care, but
I walked away feeling abandoned and
unsupported during the times I needed them most.
This experience has caused me enormous stress, frustration, and regret. Based on what I went through, I cannot recommend this firm
to anyone. If you are thinking about using their services, I strongly advise you to be extremely cautious and make sure you protect yourself, because I certainly didn't feel protected.
"I had to stop my solicitor from going to the court hearing with me. I went alone, which was very stressful, but it was much better than having a dishonest solicitor with me."
So SAD.

My family has used Adams & Remers for around ten years, covering conveyancing, probate preparation, and various financial matters. Unfortunately, that long history has repeatedly shown us the same pattern: slow progress, poor communication, and advice that has too often turned out to be unhelpful or simply incorrect.
A recent issue highlighted these problems more than ever. We raised an urgent matter relating to my elderly and unwell father, and after months of delays and reassurance from Solicitor Lynn Carter that the matter could be handled in a particular way, I eventually discovered only after taking independent steps that this advice had been wrong. The delay and the inaccuracy caused considerable stress for my family. When I made a formal complaint to partner Bibi Fortin Lees months ago, I received no response at all, which unfortunately reflects the level of client care we have consistently experienced.
The matter was eventually picked up by a locum solicitor, Sharon Witcombe, who at least made a clear effort to untangle the issues created by the earlier delays and miscommunication.
More recently, even a straightforward conveyancing task has dragged on inexplicably. It took over four weeks just to receive an email asking two basic questions something that could have been clarified in a 30 second phone call.
Based on repeated experiences over a decade, it feels as though the problems at Adams & Remers are systemic. Slow responses, inconsistent or unclear advice, and a lack of urgency around client issues have been ongoing themes, along with complaints not being handled in a timely or meaningful way. We are now in the process of submitting a formal complaint to the Legal Ombudsman.
If you are looking for legal services that are responsive, clear, and reliable, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. In our experience, Adams & Remers have fallen short far too many times.
I am still having to deal with A and R and usually would hold back on leaving such a damming review until our issues are resolved but frankly things cannot get any worse.

2 stars because my solicitor was very nice and very knowledgable. However as a whole, the absolute best at over promising and under delivering. Communication was poor and continued delays cost us significant amounts of money, probably in the tens of thousands.
