We used Ward Gethin Archer for our first home purchase and were represented by Michaela Watts throughout the conveyancing process. After a previous sale had fallen through due to a broken chain, we were understandably anxious going into the process again, but Michaela got us into our new home in less than 10 weeks from our first viewing to moving in.

Buying a property is stressful at the best of times, and ours came with its fair share of complications, none of which of course were down to Michaela. What made all the difference though was having such a capable and communicative solicitor in our corner. She was consistently responsive, proactive, and reassuring from start to finish. We never had to chase for an update or sit anxiously waiting for replies, she was always one step ahead. No matter how complex things became, she had a way of making everything feel manageable and keeping us calm and informed.

On top of all that, the fees were very reasonable - incredible value for the level of service we received.

Unsurprisingly, I will be echoing the exact same positive experiences like the rest of the current reviews about Charlie Bowden! Because she is a legend!

I knew Charlie before she moved to WGA, as she was helping me sell my shared-ownership property which was more of a complex case as a different firm. I only had experience with solicitors the one time before Charlie and it was the stereotypical experience you would have expected - little communication, not sure what's happening etc.

With Charlie it was completely different. Like I said, my case wasn't straightforward and had hurdles. But Charlie made the effort, she made the time to speak on call with me to explain the situation and talk through next steps to problem solve. She communicated so well, explaining things in detail if I needed this and I really felt like I built a great rapport with her. She listened and was human, not difficult to speak to at all.

SO when she moved, of course my business followed! Because I was really impressed with Charlie. At WGA, she helped my partner sell their property and helped us purchase a property together. Again she managed this well, updated us and spoke through options with us when we reached certain points or had any issues during the process. We really trusted her and valued her expertise in this field of work.

Thank you Charlie! If we ever need to move again in the future. she will be my go to. WGA has inherited a star of an employee into their firm.
