I had a very disappointing experience with this firm over the last few months.
If possible, I would avoid using Charles Uff. He is by far the worst solicitor I have dealt with. Communication was extremely slow, there were repeated mistakes with dates, and I often felt that there was little effort made to help or support me through the process.
Whenever I needed to speak with him, it was very difficult to get hold of him by phone. I explained several times that, because of my work, I am not always able to check emails regularly and would prefer a phone call when something urgent needed discussing. Unfortunately, this was never properly taken into account.
I had important deadlines for both my property sale and purchase, and due to mistakes and delays in handling my case, I missed those deadlines and ended up having to pay penalties.
Based on my experience, I would not use this firm again and would not recommend them to others.
