Star went above and beyond while helping us with the purchase of our property. They were very quick and responsive making it so much easier being a first time buyer. Would highly recommend them

I really don’t recommend this Solicitor, although can anyone actually ever recommend any Solicitor?
Not only were they borderline rude and lazy during the buying process I’m still coming across issues 16 months after buying a flat including a ground rent which should have been found during the searches alongside the ‘rarity’ of having to pay the service charge in bulk when initially moving in which is quote ‘never necessary’ due to a direct debit option being available but not offered by Star Legal.
The cherry on top for me was finding out the purchase wouldn’t make completion on the day everyone was aiming for through the estate agents of the people I was buying from, how embarrassing. Luckily I told Star Legal to get it done, moral of the story, don’t let Solicitor’s push you around.
Such a shame for such a happy moment to be made to feel extra difficult and stressful just because Star Legal don’t care about their clients.

After receiving a reasonable quote for conveyancing work, I followed up with a telephone call to attempt to secure a quick face to face meeting in order to discuss a couple of pertinent issues.
The lady on reception lacked manners and professionalism and told me that any communication would have to be conducted through e-mail.
For this reason I have found another Solicitor who is happy to facilitate a face to face meeting and free half hour consultation before I part with any money. - Would not recommend.
