Probably the slowest and most unprofessional firm of solicitors in the whole of Gloucestershire. When my Uncle passed away my mother and her sisters chose this firm to do the work regarding his will and the sale of his house. Not only did they forget about this for over a year they have dragged their heels throughout the entire process and are never keeping my mother informed. My mother has to keep chasing them up only to discover they have still got no further. My uncle passed away a few years ago now and still no inheritance has been received. The house has been sold and none of that has been received. I strongly suspect this firm is holding this money to gain interest on it in their own account but that is just a suspicion. Regardless of that they have taken a very long time on this and are still not completed. I would never recommend this firm and strongly advise anyone looking for a solicitor to avoid this company. To forget you even have a job to work on and to then take forever to get on with it is appalling service especially when the clients are themselves elderly and could even have passed away themselves during the many years they have waited for this inheritance. And to add insult to injury the government took over £80,000 of inheritance tax over a year ago so they have been paid already but the siblings are still left waiting. This firm is disgusting with the way they have handled this entire case and I expect they will still want paying for this rubbish unprofessional service.

A horrible experience when my mother used them to purchase a flat. Exacerbated by the fact that Redkite, Ledbury office acted for the vendor. Very poor service, lack of communication, emails not answered, phone calls not returned, no focus or sense of urgency, delays for no good reason including a month delay when the Ledbury office failed to file a document in a timely fashion. But what really took the biscuit was their reaction when at the conclusion of the transaction advice was needed on a specific legal issue. After more than 2 weeks of chasing for the advice, apparently due to the need for 2 Redkite partners to sign off on it, the result was an incomplete, weak document that essentially advised nothing. On top of which Redkite had the gall to issue an ultimatum: sign a waiver releasing us from any and all liability under the relevant statute or we will cease to act and do nothing more. After months and months just as we were about to complete!! Of course, we had no choice but to sign or we would have lost the flat. Solicitors are supposed to be professionals and are paid to give legal advise. Not to evade doing so. It was shocking.

What an asset Red kite is to our town;
Thank you to Julian for the recent advice I received.
I had a legal matter to seek advice on and hoped I could use a local solicitors first for a quick call for guidance.
Julian called me back within 30 minutes, and was very patient with my long winded side of the story! He was very helpful with stating what act applied to the matter, and with two possible routes I could go down independently - plus offering their further assistance if needed.
