I first contacted McCabe and Co Solicitors in 2023 during a very difficult and vulnerable time. I was assigned to a solicitor named "Rita".

Unfortunately, my experience with Rita did not meet my expectations. In my view, the consultation felt quite rushed, with limited time taken to fully explore the details of my situation. I was charged £600 for an initial consultation to assess my case, after which an Employment Advice letter was produced relatively quickly, which gave me the impression that the focus was on closing the matter rather than fully developing the case.

During our communication, I felt there was some confusion regarding basic details of my case, including my NAME, which gave the impression that the matter was not carefully reviewed.

Based on this experience, I did not feel confident proceeding further with this firm and chose to instruct another solicitor instead. In contrast, my subsequent legal representative was far more patient, thorough, supportive and better vaule. They ultimately helped me secure a settlement that was approximately four times higher than Rita’s initial estimate.

If you are considering using this firm, I would advise you to think carefully before proceeding.

Review of Employee's Settlement Agreement by McCabe and Co Solicitors, they did pick up on some discrepancies and got them corrected. Security checks were done online, we communicated by email but was able to speak on the phone if I needed (I didn't need). Fees were clearly explained, no extra fee to me. Overall smooth and swift process, and I would recommend.
