My experience with Wrigley Claydon Solicitors has been one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences I have ever had when purchasing a property.

As a first-time buyer, I relied on my solicitors to identify and advise me on important risks and issues affecting the property. Unfortunately, after completion, serious issues came to light, including the presence of Japanese knotweed, which have caused significant financial loss, stress, anxiety and uncertainty.

I feel that key risks affecting the property were not adequately brought to my attention during the conveyancing process. Had I been properly informed of these risks and their potential impact, I would have been able to make a fully informed decision before proceeding with the purchase.

What has been particularly frustrating is the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging my concerns, I have been left feeling that responsibility is being shifted onto me and that I should have carried out further investigations myself. This is despite the fact that I instructed professional conveyancing solicitors specifically to guide me through the process and advise me on legal risks associated with the property.

I have spent countless hours trying to obtain answers, reviewing documents and seeking legal advice regarding matters that I believe should have been properly addressed during the transaction. The stress and financial consequences have been substantial.

Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this firm for residential conveyancing. I strongly encourage anyone considering using their services to carefully review all documentation themselves, ask extensive questions and seek independent advice where necessary before committing to a property purchase.

Very disappointed with the service received.

Just bought a property under a limited company, took a little longer than anticipated but got there at the end after alot of pressure from the other sale of the chains.
Sana Ahmad was very professional always in contact giving updates as things progressed and went out of her way to get the completion done in time. Can recommend for domestic and commercial Conveyancing.

The worst company I've ever dealt with.

I spoke with them on the phone as I had a previous problem with a solicitors as they couldn't do the building because it was a BSA flat. After speaking with Wrigley Claydon they said they could do flat's that's there are over 6 floors.

During the 12 week wait, they wouldn't answer the phone once, every time I called they put me through to an answer phone. No one want's to speak to anyone. I tried to speak to them on many occasions.

After the 12 weeks, they then turn around and say they can't do work on BSA flats. 12 weeks of my time wasted. I would avoid using Wrigley Claydon when carrying out searches etc, the service they provided was shocking. After having everything taken over, it looks like very little was completed within the 12 weeks.

I am now using Setfords and it's like chalk and cheese in the level of service provided.

Shan was very friendly and helped me deal with a difficult house sale especially dealing with 2 companies who were particularly poor on communications. Liked her willingness to meet me to sort out and explain issues rather than just rely on telephone/email communications. Having first dealt with Wrigley Claydon following my dad's passing 2 years ago, I have had great service and would recommend them to anyone.
