Worst place to use for criminal defence, my court case was for special reason hearing and this company failed to gather the evidence for n time.. also when I tried to contact the solicitor dealing with the case they would claim the person is holiday.. when the solicitor did call back this only left me with 10 days to gather the evidence… stay away at all costs !!!!

Russell and Russell were, without doubt, the most disappointing solicitors I have ever dealt with. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to think carefully before proceeding.

The entire process appeared poorly managed, with important tasks repeatedly left until the last minute, resulting in unnecessary stress and delays. There seemed to be little accountability when mistakes were made, and the level of customer service was extremely poor throughout.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to Zoe Harryman, Claire Holding and Victoria Pearson who handled the purchase of our new property and the sale of our old house.

Zoe was a fantastic communicator, responding to us efficiently and effectively. She really came through for us when the solicitors below in the chain were diabolical.

Would highly recommend and will be using Russell and Russell again! Thank you so much

Recently had the pleasure of working with Gulrez Khan for my remortgage on behalf of Russell and Russell, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service I received. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and clear communication.

Gulrez was always approachable and took the time to explain each step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. Any questions I had were answered promptly, which made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free.

We used Russell & Russell for house purchase and sale of a property and my issues isn't necessarily with the company as a whole - I just had an awful experience with Alex Korko. Charlotte Cartmel I must say was very helpful when called upon, but she was only there to speak to because Alex never answered his phone.

On the day of receiving the quote, I tried to call Russell & Russell to talk through with them when we'd deciding to go with them (based on price) - but I never managed to get through to anyone even though I'd been allocated Alex. I had to email multiple times asking for Alex to give me a call which he did and was extremely rude and abrupt when speaking to me. He'd advised he was busy in the morning dealing with customers that were completing on that day and they were the priority. This reasoning is absolutely fine, however not at any point did I feel like a priority to Russell and Russell through out the whole process. That was 1 of only 2 phone calls I had with Alex over 10 months...

Fastforward to the end of the process which involved having to chase for simple information rather than being updated in a timely manor - all parties had agreed a completion date, but we didn't exchange contracts until 12pm the day before. Throughout that entire week Alex provided no reassurance or meaningful updates as to what was going on or whether we'd actually be moving house that week. It's an extremely stressful situation and Alex didn't do anything to help - so cannot recommend avoiding his services at all costs.
