Had a bad experience with this firm. Really surprised with the lack of professionalism rooted within the owners down to the staff. However the receptionist was always professional.

My brother and I chose this firm to do my wife’s spouse visa and my brothers’ wife’s visa. The visa was achieved but it was not a smooth process. Fahmida Aslam was the person who I was dealing with initially, she is part owner. She would go away abroad without notifying me leaving me stranded. I would then be told that her assistant, Angel, would be dealing with the case. This was really frustrating as Angel would not have my up to date documents which meant I had to send my documents twice sometimes three times. The random disappearing of Fahmida happened twice. This is not the behaviour of a professional.

When it came to getting the decision of the case from home office , Fahmida was missing, had to deal with Jav, another owner. The deadline I was given for the decision had gone past, I contacted the firm which had really annoyed them and Jav (part owner) literally asked me if I expect an answer to every question! This really took be back because every client should have all their questions answered. When I found mistakes in their documents I was also asked to make the amendments myself. I’m so glad I have the evidence for these claims as it is unbelievable behaviour from a firm who take substantial amount of fee for doing admin work.

There was also a time when I had made payment for fees. And then was asked a few months later to find out the exact date the payment was made because they are too lazy to track when the payment was made even though they were notified straight away!

One time I also asked for the complaints procedure but was only told to speak to Fahmida or Jav about my problem. They should’ve have given me the real complaint procedure for me to be able to contact the Legal Ombudsmen.

Now my spouse has a 3 year visa and I have no idea what to do after the 3 years. I have contacted Fahmida for more information but of course no response! I have now given up with Qualified Legal Solictors and now have gone with M & K legal services, immigration lawyers based in Newport, real professionals!

Qualified Legal Solicitors have forgot the standards of service British citizens expect. It really felt like I was dealing with a firm that is operating in Pakistan/Bangladesh due to its unprofessionalism. I have attached screenshots of my conversation with Angel.
