I have been using Pinney Talfourd (PT) since the beginning of 2025 following the death of my uncle. The services I used them for were buying a leasehold property for my aunt to move into (Hornchurch Branch) Probate and New Will (Upminster Branch). I have to be honest and say initially the communication from PT in Hornchurch was extremely poor. I was so exasperated with the service that I complained and my case was taken up by Linda Chew. Linda was exceptional, within two days things started to move, I received constant updates from Linda. She was so on the ball. I had no idea how complex buying a leasehold property would be. I am very pleased to say my aunt is very happy in her new home. Linda was very professional and if she said things were going to be done, they were done. I will be using PT once again when I sell my aunt's old property. The Probate and new will were dealt with by Melody Ogbebor at Upminster. Melody was extremely professional in her dealings with my aunt. She kept us fully informed and despite HMRC working at a snails pace completed the probate for us. The new will was completed professionally and efficiently. Despite a slightly sticky start with PT everything after was dealt with to my complete satisfaction. I would have no reservations in recommending them or using them again.
