Bought a property through this company. They were acting on behalf of the sellers. They could not sign and date a transfer document properly. It is taking me now months to make an application to land registry to register the property on my name which I paid for. Stay away!

Awful customer service. Wasn't interested. Didn't know anything.
Don't bother.

Met with Sarah regarding needing a family solicitor, great first meeting, however tried to arrange going fora d to be represented, completely ignored, sent emails, calls, etc and never got back. Wouldn’t bother wasting your time going here.

Would give this zero stars if I could. Absolute shocking service.

I used Michael Leighton Jones Solicitors to sell my property back in mid 2021 which didn't complete until mid 2022, I have never come across such useless people in all my life, everything was such a struggle for myself. I was constantly chasing for answers and progression updates on the sale. The female member of staff in the office answering the phone was very disrespectful and rude over the phone, she was unable to help me herself or transfer me to Gareth Noble who was the solicitor dealing with the sale of my house.

Gareth was non existent when I had any queries regarding paperwork not being sent from their end and when I did get a reply over the phone he was very aggressive towards me. I was just going round and round in circles with him. If I didn't keep on to him or make such a fuss I would have lost the sale on my house!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE NEVER USE THESE! Unless you just want to be messed around and end up sorting most of the things you're paying them to do yourself.

Currently going through the same experience as Paul Johnson. Please pay attention to the positive reviews set almost 2 years ago and the more recent 1 star reviews. A clear indication of the direction this firm is heading.

Trying to sell our property and found out that our solicitor hadn't completed the process (titles) with the land registry. This should had been completed as soon as the property was purchased. We can't sell the property until this error is fixed. A costly mistake that could potentially lose us 50-60 thousand pounds. If not rectified soon.

In terms of communication: You have the same odds as being struck by lightning as you do a response from the solicitor. They are more than happy to take your money but god forbid they actually have to do the work that comes in exchange for it.

Average response time from our lawyer 3-7 weeks. & I wish I was joking.
