I wished I had viewed these reviews before committing to Michael Leighton jones . It seems a leopard never loses its spots .we were recommended to use mr Gareth noble . Never ever again this conveying solicitor is totally incompetent and an embarrassment to his profession. In fact I will state this person is a stranger from the truth . Please people consider the reviews before committing

MLJ are terrible. Gareth, our solicitor, talked a good game when we obtained a quote but then once we were committed communication was non-existent. We were also sent incorrect invoice amounts. It made a stressful experience that much worse. Please consider a better firm or be ready for poor service and poor value.

My partner and i were attempting to sell a house and the buyer used this solicitor. The buyer, the estate agent, are our solicitor found this solicitor a nightmare to deal with. There was little or no communication towards our solicitor and they seemed to doge the buyers calls. It took them 4 months to inform any of us that an asbestos report was required on the property. Then after we got the report the person taking our case got ill. Instead of reassigning the case they basically ignored it until the sale fell through after 10 months from accepting the offer.

Sharon Ferguson was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Responsive, professional, knowledgeable and also a good sense of humour! Highly recommend.
