I have recently been represented by Horsman Solicitors and I would like to leave my honest experience with this firm.

I have not had any experience using legal aid before and I was very dubious about the level of defence I would receive considering I was not paying anything towards my legal costs. However from start to finish Horsman solicitors were highly professional and dedicated to keeping me fully involved through every stage of the process. Well presented and clearly written letters were sent throughout the process keeping me informed with all relevant information that I needed to know along with emails from mom my solicitor.

I was appointed Mrs Reeby as my defence solicitor. Mrs Reeby from the very beginning made time for me and we had many one on one meetings through out the process, I made appointments to see Mrs Reeby because I had many questions and worries about my trial that was on going. Each time Mrs Reeby made time to meet with me and she made a great effort to get to know me rather than just making judgement on me based on the person described in the police report.

I struggle with mental health difficulties and I have massive anxiety issues, the process was emotionally very hard for me. Mrs Reeby listened intently and made me feel safe, comfortable and reassured through the whole process.
On the day of my trial Mrs Reeby went above and beyond to represent me, she defended me and put so much effort into doing so, she made the judges see the real me and they dealt with me with compassion. The outcome was better than I could have wished for.

I want to extend my thanks and gratitude to Mrs Reeby for the massive effort she put in to defending me, I felt so proud (if thats the right word) to have you representing me. You are a truly incredible solicitor and a all round incredible woman.
