Our experience communicating with this firm has been disappointing. We’ve had ongoing difficulty getting responses from the acting solicitor, regarding unresolved matters following our property purchase. Despite several attempts by our own solicitors to make contact, we have not received a reply.
When I called the office for an update, I found the interaction with the receptionist unhelpful — I was told a message would be passed on, but I wasn’t given any indication of when to expect a response.
I understand they may view me as a third party rather than a client, but I had hoped for more professionalism and responsiveness given the circumstances.

We bought our first house with the help of the brilliant Matt Rodd and Alice Hocking! Throughout the gruelling process both were super helpful and kept us in the loop through everything. Matt has a super keen eye for detail and noticed things other solicitors have easily overlooked and for that alone he has made the process of purchasing the house a whole lot easier and stress free! Of course being first time buyers, we had LOADS of questions and didn’t understand the process fully but Matt was an angel and explained everything to us and made sure we fully understood everything we were signing. We could not recommend him enough! His whole team were without a doubt a credit to the company and I refuse to use any other solicitor in the future. Amazing company and I’m so so grateful ☺️❤️🙏🏼
