Awful service from start to finish, full estate was done. Had to do most things myself, they did not even contact British Gas which led to them breaking into my late parents house and changing the meter which led to damp.
No communication, abrupt, no apologies and disrespectful.
Having to deal with my parents passing away, I had to also deal with this awful company.
Worse solicitors I have ever delt with.

Birchall Blackburn were thankfully not our solicitors for our house sale, but unfortunately were for the buyers at the bottom of our chain.
It was due to their unprofessionalism that the chain nearly collapsed and our house sale nearly fell through multiple times; any lack of communication could be traced back to their side and they caused huge frustration throughout the process.
Their timescales were ridiculously slow for what was a very straight forward chain of 3 purchases and sadly for us this has ended up costing us hugely as we are emigrating. Had they been in line with the rest of the solicitors (who were ready to complete Jan/early Feb) we would have been able to get to where we needed to go but as they dragged the whole process out by at least a month it then became March and we had to inconveniently change our plans at much financial cost.
I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a solicitor for a house sale avoid this company as there is a high chance that the sale will be jeopardised and at such a stressful time is an unwelcome burden.
I think it speaks volumes when I feel compelled to leave a review when they weren't even our acting solicitor and in future I would seriously reconsider entering into a house purchase again knowing these solicitors were involved!!

We are extremely disappointed with the service we received from Birchall Blackburn Law. We phone dozens of times on various phone numbers to speak with someone and our calls were never answered. We left messages and nobody ever got back to us. At every stage of the purchase, we sent chaser emails which only then promoted action. We waited 2 weeks for a response from the bank from you which our broker managed to get in a quick phone call. Your staff showed no willingness to chase our purchase. Poor customer service.

Terrible service from them. Highly do not recommend especially if you are a first time seller. Given very little guidance. Never received the welcome pack through the post so had to email me it (a lot to print off!). Kept changing the price of what I would need to pay them, very good at adding on extras. Then sent me my completion statement that was out by over £20k!! They made more mistakes but too many to mention. Please be aware.
