This firm represented me in a family law case involving my young daughter. I raised serious concerns about her welfare and provided information I believed required urgent attention. These concerns were handled by the solicitor assigned to my case, David Sykes.
In my personal experience, I felt the issues were not pursued with the necessary diligence or challenge. As a result, both my daughter and I have since experienced severe parental alienation, which has been deeply distressing.
This review reflects only my own experience and opinion and not the firm as a whole. Based on my experience with this solicitor, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

Used for house sale and purchase, would never use again. Kept out of their way for the first 6 weeks as I’m aware always ringing stops them doing the job. After that, we’d phone to be told we’d get a call back, which never happened. Asking for this weekly and being told the same each week. Eventually, it took an impromptu visit to the office to speak to our solicitor. Case was switched to a different solicitor and our experience picked up then, though we weren’t informed about the switch, nor apologised to for the service we received.

Big thanks to Ella Hollands for dealing with my case making it easy from start to end. It was completed before Xmas as I wanted it, I have had Butcher and Barlow's dealing with my cases in the past they never let me down and the staff are lovely too. I would recommend to friends/ family and would use them in the future again❤️❤️
