Having dealt with quite a few different solicitors in my time, I have never encountered a firm as professional, kind, and fast-working as this one.
Amelia Clarke assisted me through a very complex and friction-filled family situation regarding my father’s farm and property while he was suffering from dementia. Amelia was the loveliest person to deal with; she took the time to truly listen to my needs and handled a very difficult situation with absolute professionalism. She delivered exactly what was promised.
The high standard of care extends to the whole company. Following my father’s passing, they have now put me in touch with Rachel Shaw to assist with the estate. I am incredibly grateful for their support and highly recommend their services.

I recently sold my property with Holmes & Hills LLP in Braintree, having also bought it through them in 2017. Gemma Adams was fantastic and very professional. She worked efficiently to meet tight deadlines and fought my corner negotiating with the buyers solicitor and my estate agent, ensuring we completed smoothly. While they may not be the cheapest conveyancing option, the quality of service and attention to detail make them well worth it. I highly recommend Gemma and the Holmes & Hills team.

We had Gemma Adams sorting out our house sale and purchase and I couldn't recommend highly enough. She was great! Really efficient and professional but also friendly and approachable. She answered any questions I had and always got back to me quickly. The same goes for Zoe, who works closely with her, and was also really helpful. I know other people that have moved this year and have used other solicitors that have really dragged their feet and been difficult to get hold of, so I'm really grateful that Gemma and Zoe were always on top of everything and moved things along as quickly as possible.
I also had dealings with Angela towards the end regarding the finances and, again, she was very efficient and helpful. I sometimes dropped documents off by hand as I was local and the girls on reception were always lovely and friendly too. I wouldn't hesitate to use Holmes and Hills in Braintree again and would definitely recommend for conveyancing.
