Jack Bull and his team, especially Ryan were excellent. i received a fantastic service from them helping to sell my shared ownership flat. the charged exactly what was quoted, they informed me every step of the way. I am also using Holmes and Hills with the purchase of my house as well. I can't highly recommend them enough.

I’d avoid this lot at any cost! day light robbery when it came to fees! Benjamin Jerome, a so called associate of theirs is an utter disgrace to this profession.
This guy is not even a proper solicitor yet this greedy immoral character was representing the seller whom I purchased a property from recently.
His behaviour was appalling, an embarrassment to the legal profession and the type of individual who would sell dandruff off of his hair if he could get a few quid.
This guy had the audacity to charged me £2,000 for changing the date on an existing Deed of Variation which would have been a cut and paste process and for this most other solicitors firm would perhaps charge up to £400.
This cowardly individual tried to bully the seller into serving a Notice to Complete resulting me in almost loosing my deposit just so he got extra fees in top of the approximate £10k or so he made from this transaction. Shameful behaviour!
Having owned several properties and dealt with various solicitors over the last 26 years this was by far the worst experience I’ve had.
When complained to his head of commercial, someone called Laura, she became very defensive and point blank refused to take my complaint on and stated that I’m not a client of theirs and therefore, she would not continue the conversation.
I then approached the Solicitors Regulation Authority who begged to differ on the matter and stated one doesn’t have to be a client to submit a complaint. They will be looking into the conducts of the two above individuals. This isn’t over yet!

Despite an excruciating 5-6 months of waiting to complete on our house purchase. Sarah, Ryan, Beth, Rachel and Callie were absolutely fabulous the whole way through.
Sarah and Ryan brought us so far into our purchasing journey and were so so responsive and always quick to respond even if there was not full update.
Thank you so much

I am writing to express our heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service provided by your planning lawyer, Mr. Michael Harman.
We had sought advice due to the complications we encountered with the local planning office, which proved to be less competent in their rulings.
Mr. Harman's expertise and prompt assistance were instrumental in resolving our issue efficiently. His guidance was precise and his approach professional, making a significant difference during what could have been a highly stressful period for us.
We are exceedingly grateful for his support as it saved us from additional stress and potential setbacks. It is reassuring to know that there are professionals like Mr. Harman who are dedicated to delivering such high standards of service.
Once again, thank you very much for the outstanding support provided by your team, particularly Mr. Harman and his assistant Shirin.
Thank you again!

Holmes & Hills were excellent. Sarah Kirby who handled both the sale of my flat and the purchase of a house went above and beyond. The communication was excellent, including getting replies in the evenings, on weekends and when she was on holiday. The rest of the team were also great. The fees are on the pricier side of things but given the service, I feel it was worth it.
