Meade King, now Knights, took 2.5 years to sort out an uncontested Will. Our account passed from one accountant to another, culminating in a total of 10 people. While each individual was nice, it seemed their work load was so intense, we would receive a snippy response if we queried where things were at. That, plus countless 'holidays' made communication poor and led to everyone feeling angry and fed-up. Finally, due to their miscalculations, the final settlement was thousands less than expected. Go elsewhere, this business is shoddy.

Expensive and slow for lease work

In response to below: I had to pay £3,000 to Meade King for them to check a simple letter permitting an underlease, drafted by my own lawyer. As I paid the bill I consider myself the customer. They were instructed by my landlord. I benchmarked this against other solicitors, who charge much less and can do it in less than six weeks, which is how long Meade King LLP took. I stand by my review and have the invoice to prove it, made out to me and my company. Meade King may want to reflect on the fact that those who pay their invoices are their customers. I would never want to be a client on my experience of dealing with them.
