My father was referred when he lacked capacity against our wishes. I had made it clear we didn’t want them involved and now my father has regained capacity and said he doesn’t want them involved they have sent him a bill of £720 +vat from an Yvonne Hugh’s !!! Ridiculous and taking advantage in my opinion
To add on solicitors are meant to be transparent about fees and charges before any work commences. Yvonne Hughs was not transparent about this to myself or my father. If what’s happened isn’t Illegal it should be and I’ll be getting advice on this else where

Good service (in this case making a new Will). Happy with final result (for now). Costs pretty much as high as any decent legal services cost these days - that is, expensive but I don't fancy leaving these things to chance! Recommend their initial web-based enquiry facilities which was quite straightforward and gave lots of information to them to work with almost immediately!
