Go to Osian at Guthrie Jones & Jones. These people work for themselves not the client. They refuse to speak to me in order to help their client. They will charge you for everything - no goodwill here. Incredibly slow.

Absolute waste of time. I asked them if i needed probate and was told no. A week later i was told that i did and in that time i received three phone calls, three letters and told that i had to pay for the notes the solicitor wrote. They did nothing to take action against my late fathers property which caused me problems. As they were not doing anything to help me i asked for my paperwork back and they said i had to pay £780 and then i could have it back.
Also in all this time i never met the solicitor that was supposed to be dealing with my case.
I later went to Slater and Gordon and although they are based in Manchester, they did more in half an hour than David Scott did in over a week. Also on the phone Mr Scott sounds rude and rushes you when you are trying to explain certain things.
My advice is ask friends and read reviews before you commit yourself.
