Used them to do a will and power of attorney. The rep pushed us to pay straight after the call. It was horrendously expensive. Their electronic portal is tricky to navigate. Everything is written in legalese. They never answer the phone. I sincerely regret using Coop.

The worst company for probate there could possibly be.
2 years to do a simple father, son daughter house transfer and they still messed it up.
Would give zero if I could.
Please please please go with anyone else.
Be better with benny hill sorting your finances at least he may return your calls

I’m absolutely disgusted with this company, avoid at all cost. The rep that sold us the policy has not been in touch, nobody seems to care or wants to help or they want is your money. My husband is in the first stages of dementia & cannot sign anything electronically which I’ve explained & we are both OAP & really don’t understand these documents some are filled in some are not, I’ve rang on numerous occasions. Eventually they sent the draft copies by post which I read & I spoke to a member of the legal team who explained to me what to do & I’ve sent them back. So I’ve received a email to say that the documents are void, so angry once again. This has cost us a lot of money which has been going on since May & still not solved why is everything done electronically do they not understand some people cannot do this. I thought the CO-OP was meant to be a reputable company no way.

Used them to write new will and PoA's. Initial visit 12th Feb 2025 when we paid for the wills to be written. Will documents finally signed on 16th April 2025 but our Trustees/executors are still waiting for documents for signature.
The representative we saw - Janina Wyzykiewcz - is the only positive part of the whole experience. She represents the company very well but the inside staff move at a glacial pace.
All this and we spent over £2,000 to get the job done (and it still isn't done completely) Hardly value for money!

Co-op Legal Services brought their services to our home, an hour and fifteen minutes away from their offices. We believe we received top quality legal services for writing our wills and powers of attorney. Their offices in Sheffield are not set up for customer visits, but we decided to hand carry our completed documents to them rather than use registered post.
