I went with parry carver as a first time buyer. They warned me it was going to be slow at first as the stamp duty change being in place (plus bank holidays and Easter holiday etc) They got it done in 4 months, the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the only improvement I can give feedback for was for updates but they might have been too busy, being new to this, I just had to trust that they were getting on with it and I hadn’t been forgotten about which made me feel a bit nervous. The lovely Corina dealt with me, Corina and her team did reply to my emails promptly (same day) if I had any questions, and they were very polite and professional.
There is free parking near the office with spaces so it was easy to get to the office (except Fridays, car park gets quite full). They tried to make it as straight forward as possible. Overall I was happy with their work. I would use them again if needed.

Wow why are people so awkward...
I have just made a phone call to a solicitor to ask how much they charge for a bit of paperwork to be dealt with... Told him exactly what I needed..
He replied with "well I don't know how much, how much would you charge to paint my house"
I said "pardon, I don't know what you mean"
His reply was "well no neither do I know what you mean, you might have 100s of pages for me to read through just like I might have 25 bedrooms for you to paint"
What!! how unprofessional, surely just give me a price whether it be by the hour or an estimated cost rather than a stupid sarcastic reply!

Seen some strange low scored reviews on this page but personally I have nothing but good things to say about Parry Carver, particularly Corina and Sharon. Sold my property with them which completed on Thursday April 14th and it was all handled very efficiently and quickly. They were even able to deal with my awkward ex partner in the process, doing really well to keep all parties happy in the process. Thanks again for all of your help guys, you made the process very smooth and easy, would definitely recommend.

Not particularly impressed so far with this solicitors. After emailing for an update, we have called in today. Who for one, tells their clients that they don't respond to emails - how unprofessional is that?!
This is regards the sale of a house, and the hold up is these lot. Everything and everyone else has wrapped up. And when chasing the completion of the house, getting told, can't until the paperwork is typed up. Fine, but you cannot advise how long it will take to type it up? 1, 3 5, 10 days? They're being evasive and not giving straight answers. Very efficient to begin with. Not so much at the moment. The house is empty, and so far we are into 10 since the offer was accepted. I think they have more work than they can manage with and as a result, their performance is lacking.

Parry Carver Solictiors = Useless
Took them months to complete my house sale with no chain. Nothing but problems with them doing it, solicitors always out of office or on leave with no one picking up their work. Sending wrong documents, contacting the wrong management company for the estate and the amount of enquires they raised we ended up doing half the work for them! They also somehow missed that our buyer was doing Forces Help to Buy which was extremely concerning! This cost us a fortune as we were forced to pay for two houses for this extended period, meaning we lost thousands of pounds!
When we rang our solicitor she was rude and told us we were living in a dream world expecting the house to go through to quick. I’m sorry but three friends sold theirs houses with chains after us and completed before us! Absolutely shocking.
We complained shortly after the sale went through, that was nearly three months ago. We had a response to say the solicitor would be investigated, a month later we still hadn’t heard anything so emailed again. We got a response two weeks later from the person handling our complaint to apologise she to had been on leave for two weeks! I’m not suggesting for one moment people can’t have holidays but surely someone should pick up their work or we should be informed there will be a delay? Now weeks later again we have still have not heard a thing! Emailed them to get another out of office!
We have raised a complaint with the legal ombudsman about them.
