This practice acted on behalf of my buyer in a recent property sale. The property was vacant with no upward chain, and my buyer was a first time buyer with both a mortgage and deposit in place. When I purchased this property (approx 2 years ago), the process concluded within 14 days as it was an auction purchase. I used the same solicitor in both transactions (when I bought 2 years ago and when I sold more recently). The sale in which this practice were involved in took 15 weeks due to prolonged response times, absence, and a general lack of urgency for our matter. The process should have been concluded in a much shorter timescale, however, due to the involvement of this practice it was stretched way beyond where it should have been. Despite my solicitor and the estate agent constantly chasing responses, next steps, updates and enquiries to try and push the transaction along, the process still took almost 4 months.

If you are a prospective client looking to use this outfit then I would seriously reconsider. The property buying/selling process is stressful enough without having to constantly chase conveyancers to do their job that they are being paid handsomely for.

Prices were upfront on website and clear.. rang up and they made it really easy to register with them.
I will say absolutely fantastic service throughout by Lauren Edwards. I actually only had to go in twice to solicitors, once for identification and second to sign exchange.
Lauren kept me updated via email and any difficulties from the buyers' solicitor they would outline the issue then put in red suggestion to resolve. This helped me massively and yes just really supportive and helpful.
Will deffo use again and this whole process been made much less stressful . thanks to the team

Great service. Would recommend to anyone. We used Wright & Co when we were buying our first home earlier this year as they came recommended by a close friend. After having no end of trouble with estate agents, Gordon and the team were a breath of fresh air, the sale was progressed quickly and professionally and we were kept fully informed at each stage, they were always quick to respond. We felt the advice given to us by Gordon was honest and sincere which is exactly what we needed at such a stressful time. The whole process from the offer being accepted to completion took about 7/8 weeks the only delays we had were on the part of the estate agent making errors and the sellers re-listing the house after they had accepted our offer (stressful), but Gordon and the team moved this along very quickly, searches were carried out straight away and they did everything they could to ensure a fast completion. All in all a great team and a great Solicitors. Keep doing what you're doing! We would always rather use small local companies over big corporate companies where you're just a number, you get a much more personalised service.
