Avoid!. Their tardiness and slackness in responding to clients is quite dreadful. Impossible to speak to a solicitor. Trying to get a conveyancing job done and there is every chance the deal will fall through because of this firm's incompetence.

Alph was an absolute disaster when dealing with a lease extension. It was so bad, the freeholder suggested I sue them.
What a joke.

Rarely took the initiative to call me or respond to my emails, I always had to call. One email hasn't been replied to in SIX YEARS.

Ombudsman in process.

Don't pay them up front, don't fall for the fake charm or assurances.

Total waste of money - and the lease extension was never completed

I have used this firm for my divorce, one aborted conveyancing, and one successful conveyancing. The staff are personable and friendly, costs are reasonable, and they are meticulous. Speed of communication in some instances could do with improvement, but overall, I am satisfied. I have used solicitors in the past who buried me in needless letters and over-communication, so there's a sweet spot somewhere!
