Very friendly and helpful receptionists who made me feel very welcome, also the solicitor’s secretary was equally warm and helpful in securing us an appointment within a short time frame which is what we needed. The appointment with the solicitor herself however was a disappointment and a waste of time, I don’t understand why she had agreed to the meeting. We wanted some advice on how to proceed after a death and were treated as though we had just come for some free advice and were wasting her valuable time. We had expected to have been given some options and prices or quotes for these options which we would have then considered but we were told a file had to be opened to have any information. We have had a significantly different experience with a different solicitors who we are now working with.

Sub-standard experience with conveyancing department due to the following:
1. Process took 6 months even though there was no chain. The vendor was a family member so I can be confident the delays came from VO end.
2. Poor communication by email. Details of bills were only sent to my sister and not onwards to myself despite me asking them to include us both. Consequently, I was out of the loop with information.
3. Nobody from VO at any stage (before or after) informed me of the completion date. I instead heard this from the vendor (family member).
4. Paid bill for their work as per their invoice and was then informed two months later that we owed them further money for searches (I don’t dispute oweing the money, but this wasn’t communicated well so added to my frustration).
I would not use them again and would not recommend them to others, primarily due to my repeated experience of poor communication and lack of efficiency.

I cannot praise the staff enough at Vine Orchards. Helpful, professional and delivered on time. I have been using Vine Orchards for many years and they have always been the same.
