We were the recipients of a Letter of Claim from this firm on behalf of a freeholder alleging serious lease breaches and threatening legal action. We strongly disputed the allegations and were concerned by the quality and accuracy of the evidence relied upon.
Considerable time and expense were required to respond to matters that, in our view, should have been more thoroughly investigated before formal allegations were made. While we appreciate that solicitors act on their clients' instructions, we would have expected greater due diligence before such serious claims were advanced. Based on our experience, we were disappointed with the firm's handling of the matter.

Very disappointing experience with Sampson Coward. I received an aggressive legal letter containing serious allegations and threats that were clearly meant for someone else.
It was evident that little to no due diligence had been carried out before issuing such correspondence. Being on the receiving end of this kind of mistake caused unnecessary stress and raised serious concerns about their processes and professionalism.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before instructing this firm.
