In my experience, the draft provided by this firm did not reflect the priorities that had been clearly set out. It seemed to emphasize the firm’s own recommendations rather than respecting the client’s wishes. From my perspective, this approach felt overly pushy, so I personally would not recommend their services.

Excellent service provided by Kelly and Ellie, who managed my mother’s conveyancing with complete professionalism. They were efficient, thorough, and kept us well-informed at every stage, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Their attention to detail and clear communication stood out, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again. Highly recommended.

I used Diane Bootland when she worked for another law firm to carry out the sale of a property and tracked her down to Raworths as I was so impressed. First off, there are cheaper firms, but it's a false economy. Our buyers used a conveyancing firm and they were a constant source of irritation to them. Diane (and her team) responded efficiently and made our sale (which was problematic) and purchase, one less thing to worry about during the whole process.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Diane to anyone looking for an experienced, knowledgeable conveyancer. Thank you Diane for a fabulous service!

My mother recently went into a care home and I instructed Tracy McKenna of Raworths to sell her house. I was acting under a Power of Attorney. We had exchanged contracts with the buyers but then my mother passed away in the middle of the transaction.
Tracy contacted a colleague to assist. I instructed David Brown of the Trust, Wills & Estates unit to guide me through what needed to be done.
Clearly a person dying in the middle of a contractual situation is not uncommon, however, David had to explain to the Newcastle Probate Registry what was required! I have to say - they were terrible.
I needed to apply for an expedited Grant of Probate but this took for ever to obtain. It was supposed to be a speedy way of allowing me to complete the house sale but it was not speedy and I was worried I was going to lose the buyers. I’m glad I didn’t have to deal with the Probate Registry myself.
David very successfully concluded everything, including obtaining the Full Grant of Probate. The two solicitors and their support staff were fantastic in what was a very distressing situation for me. The two different units worked together and kept everyone informed at all times including the estate agent and buyers’ solicitor.
I found Raworths to be a reputable firm and great to deal with.
