Great solicitors, very helpful, they kept me informed all the time 5 star

The pace of communication is very slow. You don't get to know for a month what's going on until you ask. In my case, there was a little chance of getting the deposit back as the landlord was a dodgy company that could close business any time, but the pace of the firm ensured that it closed even before the case could be filed.

I understand perfectly well that solicitors cannot take on every case, that is not the issue. The issue is the astonishing lack of professionalism displayed by PR Scully & Co, specifically by Jacqui Poole.

Instead of receiving a clear and lawful reason for declining my matter, I was met with abrupt one-line emails, spelling errors, and no explanation whatsoever. No assessment, no clarity, no professional courtesy…. just dismissiveness.

For a firm that claims to specialise in housing matters, this level of communication is diabolically poor. A simple, coherent explanation is the absolute minimum standard in legal practice. Ms. Poole did not meet it.

If this is how initial enquiries are handled, I dread to imagine the quality of representation.
On the basis of my experience, I cannot recommend PR Scully & Co and would advise others to consider firms that value professionalism and basic client respect.

UPDATE AFTER MY ORIGINAL REVIEW WAS REMOVED:
Shortly after posting my honest experience with PR Scully & Co, I received an email from Trustpilot informing me that the firm had flagged my review and claimed it “didn’t seem genuine.”

Interestingly, instead of addressing any of the issues raised in my review, the response was simply to attempt to remove it from public view.

Trustpilot’s message stated:
• the business flagged my review because they “don’t think it’s genuine”
• their automated system looked for “suspicious patterns”
• my activity level on Trustpilot was part of the basis

To clarify, my review was a 100% genuine account of my experience.
I simply haven’t left hundreds of Trustpilot reviews like most normal people. That does not make the experience any less real.

What stands out most is how quickly the firm moved to suppress negative feedback rather than engage with it professionally. This, in my opinion, speaks volumes about their approach to client communication and transparency.

My experience remains the same:
• abrupt one-line responses
• spelling errors
• no explanation for declining my case
• no assessment or professional courtesy

If a firm responds to criticism by trying to erase it rather than improve, potential clients may wish to consider what that indicates.

I was represented by Amy Dove, she was not only Professional, but demonstrated care and compassion above and beyond her responsibility.

Amy dealt with two Personal Injury claims for me after injuries sustained at work.
