We are still waiting for probate to complete nearly a year on when we were told at that start it would take 6 months as “simple estate”. Lack of communication despite requests for progress updates. Would not use again

Emily Stott sorted out the probate on my late wife’s will perfectly. And Helen Legg is continuing the good practice with excellent work on the sale of my house. I had as part of my career, work in industrial property surveying and one of my former colleagues had a look at what Helen had done and was most impressed. He said she had been very diligent and right on top of the situation. Can’t ask more.

They were supposed to be writing a will for me. After not hearing anything for three months I contacted them. From their reply it was obvious they had done nothing. I decided to take my business elsewhere.
The partner who dealt with my complaint couldn’t even get my name right.
How rubbish can they get ? (I hope they don’t see that question as this year’s challenge.)

Porter Dodson have just completed the transfer of our house to a new buyer.
Everything was handled efficiently and the separation of some different interests was achieved very professionally
