I instructed this firm regarding a long-running legal matter that took nearly four years to resolve. Throughout the process I found communication to be unclear, responses could range from slow to, at times, seemingly non-existent, and I did not feel the matter was progressed with the level of persistence or professionalism I expected, especially given the length of time involved.

Expectations were not met and, at times, the experience became extremely frustrating. There were occasions where I genuinely felt as though I was banging my head against a wall trying to obtain progress and clarity.

The matter has now concluded successfully, and while I appreciate the work that ultimately went into achieving that outcome, I did not come away with any confidence or satisfaction that the positive outcome reflected the quality of service I received.

My personal experience with Glenn Pitman was one of frustration and disappointment. I felt the matter lacked urgency and proactive progression when I believed both were needed, instead I received a lackadaisical approach and a very lengthy experience.

Utterly shocking! I visited with my mother in November and I'm glad I did. Mr Pitman is the rudest, most uninterested man on the planet!
Oh and his staff. It seems he employs similarly unprofessional people. Rude, sweary secretaries, gossiping behind your back. Incompetent receptionist, who doesn't know how to use the telephone!! She shouts around the office, looking for other staff members when she can't get them on the phone.
Documents containing incorrect information and spelling errors on simple stuff.
You go to a lawyer to help you with these things!!! The bill came through swiftly enough though.

How they have remained in business is beyond comprehension! Stay away from this firm. If you want to retain your sanity and want things done properly, heed the reviews!

Dealt with PBW in a work capacity and it was utterly disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. Eventually switched to a different firm and got things sorted in no time. Lydney deserves so much better.

Extremely rude and patronising solicitor. After requesting a quote for our claim, we received a stern phone call from one of their solicitors goading us, saying we don't know how expensive it would be, that we would not be able to afford it, and we should save our time and go to small claims court, despite me repeatedly telling him our claim involves our lives being risked due to negligence, yet he would not listen. He then hung up when I told him his attitude was unpleasant. After that he was conveniently out of office and would not take more calls. Do not go with this company if you would like to be shown any ounce of respect!

Pitman , blackstock white solicitors assisted us with purchasing a house , they kindly took over when our previous solicitors had suddenly shut , therefore allowing us to move . Mr pitman dealt with our purchase , he was very efficient, quick and honest from the beginning. We found them to be very well priced aswell. I would definitely use them again in the future.
