Alastair was fantastic throughout my house purchase, he took the time to explain everything while pushing through the sale. He went out of his way to chase a few issues from the seller's side and completed quick. The office staff are great, they kept me informed and updated throughout, it was a much smoother process than I was expecting thanks to everyone at Patterson Wolf and I'd highly recommend to anyone.

Needed some documents certified today for Australia.
The reception ladies were very welcoming and helpful with my documents and the solicitor verified and certified everything very quickly.
For a small fee I could not complain and lovely to have solicitors in the heart of Ryton.

I had a very unpleasant experience here today with what should have been a short and straight forward appointment with deed poll forms. Mr Wolf was extremely rude, dismissive and unpleasant and spoke to my friend (there as a declarant for the paperwork) and I as if we were stupid. I can't help but feel that sexism and elitism played a large part in his attitude. The whole atmosphere of the place is rooted in the past. He dismissed us before the forms were completed (as he needed to go to the bank, expecting us to wait for his return) and I will be going elsewhere to get this simple task done. Probably best to only go here if you are a posh old white man.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE- these were acting on behalf of a seller and left us homeless after agreeing a completion date then refused to pass on what had happened to their client. Took 7 months for a completion and my conveyancer had to do the chasing and the work. Never return phone calls. Left a disabled child homeless!! Solicitors don't care and neither does the owner. Reported to SRA and ombudsman as they've cost us hundreds
