We needed to make a new mirror will and, as our last solicitor had retired, I searched online for reviews. One of the best solicitors for wills in our area was for Toni Charlick at the Patrick Lawrence Partnership. Even though she is based in Gravesend, they have an office in Chatham which is much more convenient for us and she, quite happily, agreed to meet us there. Everything was simple from start to finish, I received an email with what they would require for the first appointment (proof of ID, etc), their fees, inheritance tax rules and other information relating to wills. Toni was on time for the appointment, talked us through various options open to us. She was very friendly, professional and efficient. I also had a question about another matter, not will related, that may have required another appointment with a different type of solicitor, she couldn’t answer my question at the appointment but said she would look into it. The next morning she phoned me, having spoken to an associate, and assured me that I didn’t need to take any further action with my other possible problem. I thought this spoke well of the firm in general. Our will was fairly straightforward and was completed with a couple of weeks.

I would, with hesitation, recommend Toni.

My wife and I had our wills drawn up many years ago. Andrew and his team were amazing and were able to put me at ease when at the toughest part of the court process, and while in discussions with them about some very difficult parts of it they were calm, understanding, and created a calm that I was very grateful of.
