I originally left a positive review for Montas Solicitors after being asked to do so by their staff on the same day my family member was granted bail. However, after reflecting on the overall experience, I do not feel that review accurately represented the service we received.
Throughout the process, communication often had to be chased repeatedly through frequent calls and follow-ups just to receive updates. The bail application process also took significantly longer than expected. These applications are often processed by the court within around 3–5 working days, yet in our situation the process took weeks, which added a great deal of unnecessary stress and uncertainty for our family. We repeatedly had to contact Montas ourselves just to gain basic updates on what was happening.
Since bail was granted, communication and engagement from the firm has been extremely poor, with periods of complete non-responsiveness. Unfortunately, this has led to a complete breakdown in trust and confidence in the professional relationship.
We were also disappointed by the lack of support following my uncle’s release on bail. There appeared to be little effort made to assist with recovering his belongings.
In addition, some interactions from representatives of the firm came across as aggressive and rude towards members of my family, which was upsetting during what was already a very difficult time.
The overall experience ultimately left us disappointed. I would not recommend them or their services to anyone else.

I have a housing issue .Met with Dan who said he would take on the Job for £750 I have to pay in full or wont take on job (he must have seen me coming) my brother payed .a letter was written to housing but to not to named housing officer ,so I waited months and discovered this that why I got no reply from housing officer eventually they sent a email.
When I complained to Dan about paying this money in the beginning he said people pay thousands I thought i bet they do !!!!

Ive been ignored treated in a very bad way I was then handed over to a lady called Athalia who seemed to be helpful at first , she agreed i had been treated underhandedly she seemed to make contact with housing officer but i have had no evidence of this correspondence. Im still non the wiser about housing situation she has also left me hanging.

im with my mother who has dementia in a one bedroom flat my mothers property isnt suitable .I have been very stressed they was my last resort I regret the day I walked into their shabby office. I feel ripped off they have been very unprofessional.
Ross ignored me Dan ignored me and Athalia now ignored me I have been treated like some pest rather than a valued customer.Just Disgusting!
