Have been trying to buy a property since before Christmas and these are the sellers solicitors - they sat on important papers for a month from December to January, really slow at answering emails, are ‘out of the office’ without advising the other parties and don’t answer the phone, seems like Tiffany & Samuel only ‘work’ part time - never known such incompetent solicitors in 50 years of house moves!

We have always used Jacqueline Smith for our conveyancing needs, and we found her able to deal with all of our needs in a very professional and efficient manner. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Very speedy & professional service.
I am really shocked to see 1* reviews for this place!
We used Tiffany & Catherine at the Christchurch office and couldn’t have been happier.
They were always at the end of the phone and email when we needed them- pushed the sale of my flat and the purchase of our new house in super quick time. We didn’t find a property to purchase until early Jan ‘24 and completed yesterday- so less than 11 weeks.
Tiffany was happy to have face to face with us to go over all the documents as I was nervous of getting something wrong- she took her time to go through it all and was really helpful.
Catherine was the star of the show here- she answered our panicky emails & phone calls and always found quick remedies for the issues… and helped calm this 6 month pregnant crazy brain of mine.
Thank you both so much.

Edward Holmes advised us regarding a neighbour dispute involving a breach of covenant. Advice (legal and behavioural) was clear, pragmatic and accurate and comms were good throughout. The case ultimately went to court and the judges found in our favour, enforcing the covenant and awarding costs to us. The service was excellent, honestly priced and the outcome was as advised. Would not hesitate to recommend Meesons and Spurling based on our experience.

We met up with a solicitor there early October 2023 to get a probate and a new will done and despite follow ups and leaving call message we didn’t hear back from her. Early December we’ve decided to not go ahead with them as there’s no progress and we emailed her to request that they destroy all our xerox copies of personal documents which we then immediately received a call from her only to be told that my partner didn’t send his passport copies over. We didn’t want to waste time arguing having made up our mind that we don’t care for such tardy service but for the record, my partner did motorbike to your office one morning and had sent the copies in hence we won’t be coming back nor would we recommend a firm who’s not proactive nor were they efficient within their organisation. Needless to say our time was duly wasted.
