Have to say I agree with Sonja Marczewski's review. I sold a small terraced house in Sept 2024 and my buyer used RT from this firm. I had hoped the sale would be completed before Christmas but RT seemed to think this was almost impertinent. January and February came and went and my solicitor and I fielded all of the questions, some of them twice! Eventually my patience ran out and I told my solicitor to say it was going back on the market. Finally completed mid-March as RT grudgingly exchanged contracts and completed. I've used my solicitor many times before and know that all delays were not on our side. My estate agent was also very frustrated with the lack of pace from RT as well.

Andrew Cunningham is who we used to sell our home and buy our new property in Jan this year. We honestly cannot recommend Andrew highly enough, we were in a complicated chain to say the least. Andrew went above and beyond, his professionalism was second to none. Andrew kept us up to date every step of the way, he went out of his way speaking with other parties involved to make sure our transactions happened. We are sure without his involvement we wouldn't of had the positive outcome we got and for that we are immensely grateful.

Would not recommend this firm I’m afraid. I found my solicitor from this company (who came recommended) unhelpful and communication was poor. I was lucky to have a brilliant mortgage adviser to help and who was all about overcoming hurdles and Plan B. Sadly not my experience of my solicitor RT from Mears Hobbs & Durrant. My fees doubled to approx £3000 from those quoted as the garage (worth £4000) was on a separate title and my other purchase’s exchange was delayed by RT despite the rest of the chain being ready to go.
Won’t use again.
