I would not recommend Macks Solicitors based on my recent experience. They are acting for the other side in what should be a very straightforward house sale — a first-time buyer purchasing an empty property with no chain. Despite the simplicity of the transaction, the process has been unnecessarily drawn out.

Macks Solicitors have repeatedly failed to respond to simple, reasonable queries raised by the other side’s solicitor. Even more frustrating is their refusal to provide any explanation for the ongoing delays and holdups. Clear communication is essential in property transactions, yet it has been consistently lacking.

What is particularly concerning is that they appear to be making promises to their own client that are not being followed through, leading to further delays of several weeks. This has turned what should have been a smooth and efficient process into a prolonged and frustrating experience.

Overall, the lack of communication, accountability, and progress has caused unnecessary stress and frustration. I would not recommend their services.

Fantastic, professional service-Charlotte was absolutely incredible in helping me complete an ID1 form for the sale of my mum's property for care costs. She was extremely understanding and took me through everything brilliantly. I really appreciated her kindness, particularly when we had to reschedule because I hadn't brought the correct documents.
