I should have read the reviews before I engaged Leeds Day but they came highly recommended. Awful service, wrong advice and when I questioned how they got to a ridiculous fee for doing nothing they served me a letter before notice. My advice go somewhere else.

I cannot praise Andria and the conveyancing team in the Huntingdon office highly enough. They went above and beyond looking after my mums interests whilst both selling her old home and purchasing her new bungalow. I was kept up-to-date at all times during what is as everyone knows, a very stressful time. Any questions, any queries, were answered promptly and professionally. Great Team.
Many thanks on behalf of my mum and I. I will certainly be recommending Andria and her team to family and friends.

Absolutely diabolical and would avoid at all costs. My solicitor has been trying to deal with Leeds Day for six months to arrange a simple lease assignment for my business. They have:
1. Turned this into a protracted and unnecessary negotiation (it should a straightforward process), trying to remove the security of tenure rights under the Landlords and Tenants act from the lease.
2. Attempted to increase my ongoing liability for the lease from two years to 15 years!
3. Gave incorrect and misleading information to their client, the landlord. At least when we identified this issue the Trainee Solicitor dealing with us up to that point ‘left’ Leeds Day the next day.
4. Presented us with invoices in excess of the undertakings given and when requested they couldn’t or wouldn’t substantiate them. When challenged further on this they simply reduced their invoice back to the value of the original undertaking. They have been asked on several occasions to explain their costs but have failed to do so.
5. The ‘supervising’ solicitor who took over expressed surprise when she looked at their file and found 281 items, even though she had been on copy of all of them! That was back in June and there have probably been about another 100 email exchanges on it since then and they still haven’t confirmed they are ready to complete.
6. Sent documents to the Landlord for signing that were incorrect and had to be returned, causing further delay. Denied having any knowledge of this on two occasions and finally sent the corrected paperwork back to the landlord two weeks later! We still don’t have confirmation that they are in receipt of the signed documents even though the landlord has confirmed they were completed and sent.
7. Have consistently ignored chasing emails from my solicitor.
This is just a summary. I have lodged a complaint with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (they are members) as I have email and documented evidence to substantiate all of the above.

I initially met the team from Leeds Day at an awards evening, where we shared a table and had a fantastic night. This positive impression led me to reach out to them when I needed a solicitor for my divorce. I contacted one of the partners directly, who connected me with Lee Bailham, someone I had also met that evening. Unfortunately, my experience with Lee was far from satisfactory.
The service I received from Lee was disappointing, to say the least. I struggle with admin tasks myself, and I deeply regret not documenting the numerous mistakes made during my case. However, even without a detailed record, the errors were glaring and unprofessional—unacceptable from someone charging hundreds of pounds per hour.
Considering the premium rates charged, I expected a high level of service and attention to detail. Instead, I found the experience frustrating and stressful during an already difficult time. While Leeds Day might have some talented professionals, my interaction with Lee Bailham left me deeply dissatisfied and unable to recommend their services based on my experience.

Appalling experience, was quoted a figure for a property transfer and the final bill was 3 times what was agreed. They aggressively invoice you for work you didn’t agree to and I was charged £500 for a phone call questing my bill! If they know you are up against it they think nothing of extorting you and they gave me bad advice which put my mortgage at jeopardy. Don’t use them, I went to Adlams in the end and everything went very smoothly and costs were as quoted. Their response below is a lie, they took my money to transfer a property into my name and didn’t think to say I’d need a separate solicitor they just took the money and kept charging for work they hadn’t done, completely incompetent.
