Used kew law today, initially asked for advice in regards transferring the mortgage into my ex wife's soul name, therefore requested for legal advice.
Rosa came back asking what I actually needed help with therefore explained my situation and asked for advice.
The Rosa came back and outlined that I needed to go back to my ex wife to find out exactly the mortgage company wanted ( which I thought thats why I was seeking advice for especially as my separation was not amicable), anyway managed to find out i needed a ID 1 form completed therefore informed Rosa and an appointment ( or what is thought was an appointment) was made.
On the day I went to the office with all the required proof of ID with me, I was made to sit in reception and fill out the ID1 form with no privacy and handed it back to the receptionist. Some one then came out gave me my id back and disappeared and several minutes later the receptionist handed me the completed form. After paying for what was a 10min appointment at a cost of £150 I was informed " it's all done" . So i asked what happens next to which the receptionist looked very confused and said she would ask. Minutes later she re appeared with ( who i found out later was Rosa) looking very disgruntled and was duly informed that I only had requested for a ID1 form to be completed ( please refer to my earlier statement saying that I was looking for legal advice).
I am seriously angry that not only a 10min appointment ( not with Rosa ) but with a receptionist to complete a ID1 form has cost me £150, I suggest think very hard before using these solicitors otherwise you will be very dissatisfied with your experience

We would like to say how pleased we were with the service provided by Kew Law in Halstead when we sold our house, particularly Michelle Delieu, Licensed Conveyancer, who was always friendly and professional and although our property was not straightforward at times she dealt with any questions and queries quickly and efficiantly.
We would also like to mention the the ladies on the Reception desk as they were always friendly too.

I have used the Halstead branch of Kew Law for 2 house purchases and 1 sale in the last couple of years and I'm very happy with the service they have provided each time, very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any queries which is always important during what can be a stressful process. The charges are also very competitive. I'm very happy to recommend them.

We received excellent service in our recent property purchase in Halstead. The legal team at Kew Law provided us with clear information about the process and explained the key steps. We were able to conduct our process by e-mail and the team responded quickly to our queries. I found the submission of bank statements quite excessive but I understand the requirements to combat money laundering. My grateful thanks to Ms DeLieu who helped me enormously as we neared completion to confirm a bridging loan with my lender. Overall ..Thank you Kew Law.

Everyone from Kew Law was very helpful with the sale of my Father's home. They kept me informed and always got back to me on any queries. The exchange and completion went through without any issues.
I am selling my house and will definitely use Kew Law for the conveyancing and will recommend them to people I know.
