I used Haywards for conveyancing on my house purchase, as first time buyers we didn't know what to expect, but whole process was easy with very good communication from them, and done in 3 months start to finish.
I would highly recommend this local company

Having an awful experience with Haywards. Currently taken over 9 months to complete on a property purchase with no chain! As mentioned in other reviews they are unbelievably slow. Each and every query is taking about 6 weeks to get a reply. Unfortunately we cannot even chase as they are our vendors solicitors and refuse to provide us with any updates. Their constant delays have not only caused us additional financial issues but now really effecting our mental well-being. I genuinely hate having to leave a negative review but don't want anyone else to suffer such terrible service 😞

An awful experience from start to finish. It took Haywards over 2 1/2 years to do a simple probate of one property and a few bank accounts. They are unbelievably slow at doing anything, several staff left during the process and their customer service is poor - if you don't chase them nothing seems to happen. The main delay of nearly a year was due to the property they were "looking after" having a burst pipe over winter (as they forgot to turn the water off) and it taking over 9 months for them to get it fixed. It has been a very stressful experience and never once did they offer any sort of apology or compensation. Would not recommend for probate services.

Senior partner in this firm turned out to be the executor for a property that we were purchasing. After six weeks of progressing the sale they then told us they were not willing to fill in any property information forms or answer any points raised and that the property was 'sold as seen'. Our offer was based on a normal sale and not once were we told it would be sold as seen (like an auction sale). I am not surprised they have a lot of very poor reviews if this is the way they conduct their business...Beware!
