I was represented by Kelsey & Hall via a duty solicitor at a police station in May 2025. From the start, the solicitor was dismissive, short, and abrupt. I presented key information relevant to my case, which was ignored, and I later discovered the advice given was legally inaccurate. The only satisfying aspect was that, as I had outlined to the solicitor at the police station, I knew my case was destined to fall flat on it’s face, much as it ultimately did - despite his persistent disagreement at the time.

Following the meeting, I made seven polite attempts over several weeks to contact the solicitor regarding my case and to request my files. While it is understandable that one or two calls may occasionally go unanswered, seven unanswered calls (where is reception team assured me each time he would call back) is seriously concerning and reflects a worrying lack of professional care. When I finally received a response, it was abrupt, dismissive, and offered no acknowledgment, apology, or guidance. Subsequent emails requesting clarification and confirmation of representation were ignored entirely.

My final request for my file so that I could be represented elsewhere was completely ignored.

In my experience, the firm’s communication, responsiveness, and professional conduct were unacceptable. I cannot recommend them.

Attempted to contact nick for the last 6 months to get my son’s sentencing transcript. Left 10+ messages with his office Staff to which he’s replied to none though he’s the only persons that can supply the transcript. Would not recommend.

Despite them being timely in their first response, they got back to me after I gently reminded them (they knew what I needed would take time).

As such, they were on hand when I needed it and excellent in helping make it go away.

Would recommend.

They are the best. I love them. All. So individual, yet poignantly fabulous in their own rights.
Clearly, read the law pertaining to your specific charge, decide how you want to move forward, and then instruct them with that action. They will support you.
It's all your choice.
If they choose to represent you, that is what they are doing.
They are representing YOU.
It's always YOUR CHOICE.
If you feel bullied into making a decision, which you don't want to make, they're not allowed to do that, that's not representing you, so take a breath, step off, and choose someone else.

That said, at this time, I choose these guys.
