I had a deeply troubling experience with JMW Solicitors LLP in a family law case.
The firm acted on behalf of my former partner in a context of previously documented domestic abuse, which made the situation especially difficult for me as a vulnerable person.
As a migrant woman with limited financial resources, I was subjected to legal proceedings that could have left me homeless, resulting in extreme legal and emotional strain.
Furthermore, a communication from the firm regarding a court order did not clearly reflect its terms, which resulted in my daughter being unable to visit me, causing a very serious personal impact.
In my experience, this firm's involvement contributed to a situation that felt like a disproportionate use of the legal process against a vulnerable person.
Due to the seriousness of what occurred, I have filed a formal complaint with the Solicitors Regulation Authority for review.
