As a beneficiary I'm totally bewildered at the shocking attitude I've witnessed by reading correspondence by Katie

Client care is not in Katie Daniel's vocabulary. Anyone reading these reviews should seek alternative legal representation and advise others. Jerome's will be struck off soon with continous complaints stating the same about Katie Daniel.

If Katie Daniel is treating her clients so badly, I can only guess the office bullying by such human

I'm appalled by Jeromes and the way they conduct a service! Jerome's has 1 Director on Companies House after researching. Look at the team on their website, how many admin compared to qualified legal advice?

My Aunt has been let down by Jerome's, they agreed to write her will and meet her to have this witnessed before breaking for Christmas as we knew time wasn't on our side. They failed to communicate and my Aunt passed 3rd January, we had to find an alternative to make her will. Due to a hard time we left Jerome's to deal with a part of the estate as an Executor as it was Christmas and couldn't appoint another in time.

Jerome's have now failed to communicate again, duplicate work that I have completed and sent to them, if they had read my emails and documents that I physically posted through the letterbox they would have acknowledged this. I'm then told by Mark that I had no right to respond to utility companies as they are an Executor and requested other questions on the estate. Every answer to him was "I sent this months ago", "you have this already", "just sent it for the 3rd time but you had this months ago and I resent yesterday and you want it again", it hit embarrassing that he tried to change the questions rather than apologise again! I
got to the point and said do you have any legal qualifications? Constant discrepancies from conversations I had with Katie Daniel *Sole Owner. Response was no and I'm just a secretary and I can't advise you no more. *However, he did state in writing I can change to a different solicitor

My Aunt's file then goes to Katie Daniel, who is the Director and sole name on Companies House. I'm then asked if I want to give up my rights as Executor and keep Power. Communication was blamed on 3rd parties and myself for communicating with 3rd suppliers, even though they were contacting me as no response from Jerome's. Basically any complaint I had was someone else's fault apart from Jerome's. My Aunt would turn in her grave knowing the stress Jerome's have caused and still stuck with. My Aunt didn't want them as an Executor when they failed to write her will in time because they failed her.

I've asked Jerome's to renounce so I can move on with the estate. I will be submitting a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman and SRA (The Solicitors Register). I've requested a SAR from Jerome's for my complaint to show dates of communication and failure to respond. They claim to send automatic responses, untrue and another lie. Solicitors and law firms cannot charge a fee for responding to a Subject Access Request. I have requested all communication email, calls made, notes both internal and external and have 4 weeks (now 3) to respond.

In my honest opinion looking at the website, its 1 solicitor and large admin team for Katie Daniel. I just want out and Mark advises in writing I can (watch this space for Katie Daniel to say no, which shows negligence and staff not qualified to give advice).

They are making my Aunt's passing harder and more stressful.

Katie Daniel : You own this company, as per my emails renounce your role. It's disgusting your company contributes further stress to griefing families. "Mark, secretary, you employed and acts for you said we can find an alternative solicitor" let us get on with our grief and instruct a solicitor who does communicate, takes action, doesn't blame others and professional in approach. You're making my Aunts death (mother) a lot harder.

Advice: Stay clear .. to many reviews stating the bad experience. I want my data/ID removed from their files. There isn't enough characters to allow you to complete a full review. I will add a new review and mark it part II when I provide a further update.

Go with them with complete confidence. Bought a property in Bembridge Harbour. Sue Walters took it on. No stone left unturned. Relentless attention to the tiniest detail. She really displayed complete command over the entire process leading it with professionalism, empathy, accuracy, without compromise and beneath it all, a great person!

Poor communication and interminable delays.

Can't speak to anyone on a reasonable timescale and only ever seem to get emails on Fridays.

Today they asked for a share certificate that they apparently hold.

We've sent them emails, which are followed by requests for information which was already contained in a previous email.

And any emails to them autoreply that the email has been received and a response will come in 3-5 working days.

I can't wait for this to be over so I never need deal with them again.

Extremely disappointed, I used Jerome in the past and it was efficient, great communication and working with a timescale. This time everything is wrong, from the late start of my case ,weeks were gone until paperwork summitted, lack of communication, never answer phone, wrong documents issues , and the lengthy process , is always something else. I feel like ending all because of so many months not progressing, living in boxes, with a illness...it is too much. No empathy for clients and no willingness to solved matters . I would avoid this firm, my case should be done by now.
