I have been so disappointed with the service I received from this firm during the sale of my property. The entire experience caused unnecessary stress and anxiety from start to finish.

This was my first time using them, and based on mostly positive reviews I decided to take a chance. Unfortunately, communication was consistently poor—often bordering on non-existent. The app they provide is effectively useless, it rarely (if ever) was updated, leaving you completely in the dark.
The sale of my property took nine months to complete. While I understand that not all delays were within their control, I strongly believe that better communication throughout would have made the process far less stressful. Partway through the transaction, my case was unexpectedly reassigned to a different solicitor. Communication did improve at that stage (which is the only reason I have given 2 stars rather than 1). However, towards the most critical point—right before completion—my solicitor went on holiday and my file was handed over to the wider conveyancing team. At that stage, communication deteriorated significantly again.
The most distressing part of this experience was at the very end: on the agreed completion date, I found myself chasing for updates whilst I was also on holiday, only to discover that exchange of contracts had not even taken place. When exchange did eventually happen and completion was rescheduled for the following day, I received no proactive communication whatsoever. The buyers were given the keys to my property while I had not yet received any notice that their funds had actually been received. This left me extremely anxious and in an unacceptable position. I requested written confirmation of when the funds were transferred, along with supporting details, but I had only received a copy of a letter via email that they are posting out to confirm the completion (which is no good). So, still not what I had really asked for.

Overall, I found the service to be disorganised, poorly communicated, and unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.
