I chose to use Hetts because of their experience with Leasehold and Freehold matters and have not been disappointed. After "shopping around" for firms of Solicitors who specialise in Lease Extensions, I came across Hetts website. Even though geographically they are not close to us (Lincolnshire to Essex), I am more than happy that we chose to use them for the two local authority lease extensions we required.
The price quoted was extremely competitive compared to other Solicitors with the required Lease Extension expertise based closer to us in Essex.
Dealing remotely with Ashley Connell was extremely easy, with quick responses by email to any questions that arose from our end.
Ashley explained each step clearly in easy to understand detail, including the lease premium cost negotiatons with the local authority that resulted in satisfactory outcomes.

We recently used Hetts to rewrite our wills, and Nicola Casey was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we fully understood each step, which really put us at ease.

First class, no nonsense service from Ashley Connell. Renewing the lease on my BTL flat was made straight forward and relatively simply by Ashley at Hetts. I really appreciated the easy-to-understand explanations Ashley provided. My e-mails were replied to quickly and competently.
