They believed in and supported my son, who could have spent nine years in prison for something he never did. Today, he has received his freedom. I also want to thank the excellent professional lawyer Simran for being such an understanding and wonderfully humane person, understanding and helping us during our moments of despair.

I am not a person who likes leaving negative reviews but on these matters I have to because dealing with the court and your freedom being on the line, it's important you get the best representation possible. Bear in mind I switched from hollingsworth to another solicitors after a failed trial where we ran out of time, switching to a better solicitors I have been acquitted of all charges and gone back to normal life. I have no reason to be spiteful and only leave this review to guide others.

Firstly, during my interview with the police the duty solicitors from this firm seemed angry and frustrated if I asked any questions. Police interviewed me for 3 hours I asked for a break midway and he kissed his teeth out of frustration for wasting time. My life, career and freedom were on the line, sorry it was a lot for me.

The solicitors appointed a barrister who barely gave me the time of day. I had scoured through tons of evidences, which is the reason I am not sitting in prison right now however I sent this to my solicitors. They did not go through it until right before the trial. This evidence would take 2 days to go through with me explaining it at least but they gave me 3 hours tops.
I got rid of a lot of the evidence at their request but honestly if they sat with me for a day it of been all that was needed and then we could go to trial.
When we got to trial with no surprise at all the barrister was overwhelmed with all the evidence and stated it was just too much stuff. Well respectfully if you put in the days work with me and just a day I would be acquitted earlier. This is the same evidence that got me acquitted of all charges later.
Instead due to the unprepareness it showed during the trial and we could not finish on time. 13 months of no work and loss of freedom my trial was cancelled due to solicitors not wanting to spend a day with me.

There's so much more to this but I don't want to bore the review. I am a medical doctor however when speaking to them I felt like I was being treated like an idiot. The most dangerous thing is people who have a little intelligence but they think they have a lot and that is something I noticed with alot of people in this industry...
My advice is as someone who has been through the full blunt force of the criminal system going to trial and also being found not guilty on everything, is that when you get someone to represent you its important you get a defence that cares about you and has the intelligence to understand the arguments you want to me for your defence. Issue is with many degrees and including law is that to be blunt you are getting barely gcse grade C students to basically fight for you and if you lose you spend your life in prison.
So pick wisely i almost lost my life and all my hard work as a doctor with this defence.
